Seth Rollins Has First WWE Match In Two Months, Teams With Cody Rhodes

Seth Rollins

Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins has made his long-awaited return to in-ring competition.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been out of action since suffering a knee injury during a successful title defence against Jinder Mahal on the 15th January edition of Raw.

After initial worries about a recurrence of a devastating 2015 ACL tear that saw him forced to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and miss six months of action, Rollins was revealed to have an MCL sprain that would see him back in the ring in time for WrestleMania 40.

Rollins’ welcome return came during the WWE Road To WrestleMania Live Event in Alexandria, Louisiana on Saturday 9th March. The former Shield member teamed with ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes to defeat Bloodline members Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso in the evening’s main event.

Seth Rollins Set For Incredible Milestone At WrestleMania

Rollins is set to feature in two huge bouts at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia on 6th and 7th April.

After an enthralling build up, Rollins is set to team with Cody Rhodes to battle The Rock and Roman Reigns in what is is being billed as the biggest tag team match of all time. The highly anticipated Night One contest will see Rollins headline WrestleMania for the first time ever.

The weekend will not get any easier for Rollins, who is set to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against ‘The Scottish Warrior’ Drew McIntyre during Night Two of the extravaganza at Lincoln Financial Field.
