Seth Rollins To Defend World Heavyweight Title On January 15th Raw
Seth Rollins now knows who’s next in line for his World Championship, as he will face a formidable foe in less than a week’s time.
On the 8th January 2024 edition on Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins came to the ring and had his sights set on the run up to WrestleMania, making it clear he was pleased that this will be the first time he has entered ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’ as a reigning world title holder.
Looking at WrestleMania, Rollins speculated who he would beat in Philadelphia – with the crowd straight away chanting CM Punk, which he said would only happen in “his” dreams. However, a challenge ended up happening which will take place much sooner.
Jinder Mahal Granted World Heavyweight Title Shot
Seth Rollins was then interrupted by Jinder Mahal. The former WWE Champion declared that he had been overlooked for years, and demanded a shot at the title.
Rollins commended Mahal for coming out there after such an embarrassing moment on the Day 1 episode of Raw last week where he was interrupted by The Rock, and challenged him to take a swing. Mahal only did so when he could blindside Rollins, however after sticking a few boots to the title holder it got overturned and Mahal was sent scarpering from the ring.

It was later confirmed that Jinder Mahal will challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship on the 15th January edition of Raw.
There’s certainly going to be a target on the back of the champion, with CM Punk recently taking fresh shots at Seth Rollins.
