Scrapped Jimmy Uso WWE WrestleMania 41 Plans Revealed

Jimmy Uso

Things nearly looked very different for Jimmy Uso.

At WrestleMania 41, Jey Uso reached the promised land and finally achieved his goal of becoming World Champion. By contrast, his brother Jimmy didn’t feature on the show at all.

However, that wasn’t the original plan. According to a new report from Cory Hays via Bodyslam.net and PWN Reports, there were plans for Jimmy to be involved in the United States Title picture, but they were ultimately dropped.

In the weeks leading up to the show, Jimmy formed part of Jey’s storyline involving Gunther, while LA Knight lost the United States Title to Jacob Fatu.

They had plans for Jimmy in the US Title scene leading to Mania but a lot of plans changed for Mania.

Jimmy Uso Heading For Popular Reunion

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Jimmy and Jey Uso will be getting back together in the coming months. The report noted that the long-planned reunion will now be put into motion after Jey lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther.

In the time that Jimmy has often been struggling to find a place on SmackDown, Jey has excelled on Raw, becoming one of the most popular stars in WWE. This popularity was confirmed when Jey won the 2025 Royal Rumble before going on to beat Gunther at WrestleMania 41.
