Santos Escobar & Ricochet To Meet In WWE Smackdown World Cup Finals
The finals of the WWE Smackdown World Cup are set.
It might have not been a good November 25, 2022 for England in the FIFA World Cup, but it sure was a good day for Mexico’s Santos Escobar and the United States’ Richocet, who will meet up in the WWE Smackdown World Cup Finals.
With Santos Escobar, he earned his ticket to the finals after taking out Japan’s Shinsuke Nakamura in the first round, and then on the Nov. 25 edition of WWE Friday Night Smackdown, he defeated England’s Butch in the semi-finals.

For Ricochet, he took on Pakistan’s Mustafa Ali in the first round, followed by Braun Strowman in the semi-finals, who was also representing the United States of America. However, his win against Strowman would come with help from GUNTHER and his Imperium faction.

With their victories Nov. 25, Santos Escobar (Mexico) and Ricochet (United States of America) will now meet up in the finals of the WWE Smackdown World Cup on December 2, 2022, with the winner getting an Intercontinental Championship title shot against GUNTHER.
