Rumours On WWE’s Plans For Randy Orton Debunked

Randy Orton

Randy Orton is coming back to WWE, but what will he be doing?

For weeks rumours have been swirling around Orton and his return to the squared circle. The Viper has been out of action for well over a year but is said to be on the verge of making a comeback.

A more recent report suggested that Orton would be back at or around Survivor Series, and that’s now been backed up. As reported by Fightful Select on November 11th, Randy Orton will be back on television just prior to Survivor Series before competing at the event. There are plans to join Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, and Sami Zayn inside WarGames, to take on Judgement Day, and Drew McIntyre — although his involvement has yet to be confirmed on television.

This quickly led to speculation that Orton could be in line to win a “major title” shortly after Survivor Series. However, in another update, Fightful notes that this “hasn’t been broached.”

When Did Randy Orton Last Wrestle

Randy Orton hasn’t wrestled since teaming with Matt Riddle on the May 20th, 2022 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. On the show, RK-Bro lost the Raw Tag Team Titles to The Usos, before taking a beating from The Bloodline after the bell.

The attack was used to write Orton off television.
