Rumoured New WWE Signing Drops Cryptic Tease

Tama Tonga blur WWE logo

Another new WWE signing could be on the way.

Back in February, it was reported that WWE had signed Aliopate Aloisio Leone — better known to fans as Tama Tonga.

The former NJPW star is the son of wrestling legend Haku and has close ties to Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. This has sparked speculation that he could join the faction to help them rebuild after Reigns was defeated by Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.

Tonga had been in talks with the company as far back as early 2023 but at the time decided to extend his contract with NJPW.

Posting on social media, Tonga appeared to drop a cryptic about his future.

WWE Makes Several New Signings

The tease from Tonga comes after Jacob Fatu told those close to him that he’s signed with WWE. The former MLW star has been a free agent since February and has close ties to WWE as a cousin of Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and The Usos.

Meanwhile, Giulia was shown in the crowd watching NXT Stand & Deliver. The former STADRDOM star was shown alongside William Regal and Rossy Ogawa and seemed genuinely moved as the packed house cheered her to the rafters.

The appearance from Giulia came just after Ava announced the creation of the Women’s North American Championship.
