SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey has said “no one really knows what’s going on” in relation to this year’s Survivor Series in November.

Survivor Series returns on November 26th and for the first time ever WarGames will be a part of the event. In an exclusive interview with The Ringer, Triple H appeared to confirm that the event will no longer focus on the polarising battle for brand supremacy between Raw and SmackDown:

“This will not be Raw versus SmackDown. It will be much more story-line driven. I still look at it as a traditional component to Survivor Series in there because it’s large teams of people competing. We just upped the ante a little bit with WarGames and made it evolve.”

Speaking on her YouTube channel, Ronda Rousey suggested that maybe things for the event were not quite as clear cut as she supposed who might join her and Shayna Baszler on a Survivor Series team saying that she’s heard that “it’s all up in the air”:

“Who would be on my team besides Shayna to make it even, three versus three? Would we turn Liv [Morgan] evil? Would Nattie turn? … I don’t know if they’re going to do a traditional Survivor Series this year with champion versus champion. I’m hearing it’s all up in the air and no one really knows what’s going on … I don’t know if [Charlotte Flair] would want to be part of a team, though. That would be very interesting.”

Ronda Rousey had her tongue firmly in her cheek as she commented on Liv Morgan’s smile at the end of their Extreme Rules match which The Baddest Woman on the Planet won.
