Ronda Rousey Mocks “Glitter Twins” On WWE Smackdown
Ronda Rousey has hit out at WWE’s “Glitter Twins” following a loss on this week’s SmackDown.
On the December 9th edition of SmackDown, Ronda Rousey teamed up with Shayna Baszler to take on Liv Morgan and Tegan Nox.
The match was a short affair as, when Baszler and Rousey seemed to be getting the upper hand, Raquel Rodriquez appeared at ringside. Ronda Rousey left the corner to confront the star, who, in storyline, is currently sidelined with a broken elbow thanks to the former MMA pair. In the ring, Baszler was distracted long enough for Liv Morgan to hit her with a Jawbreaker before Tegan Nox came in with the Shiniest Winner for the pinfall victory.
Taking to social media after the show, an enraged Ronda Rousey hit out at Nox and Morgan, calling them the “Glitter Twins” and accusing them of cheating to win.
“Funny how the glitter twins can cheat and still be loved for it. You want us to take this serious, @raquelwwe @yaonlylivvonce @nixonnewell ? Fine. You got it. Your funerals.”
Ronda Rousey most recently defended the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Raquel Rodriguez’s friend Shotzi at Survivor Series. Rousey came out of the match on top, but the bout has been heavily criticised for a botched DDT which Rousey recently admitted she had “f*cked up”.
