Roman Reigns’ Next WWE SmackDown Appearance Revealed

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns will be live in living colour for fans in Atlanta, Georgia as the WWE Universal Champion has been announced for the 19th of January SmackDown.

On the New Year’s Revolution edition of SmackDown, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and LA Knight clashed in a triple threat match to find out who would challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble on January 28th.

However, Reigns had other plans as he and the rest of The Bloodline crashed the match, attacking all three participants. If Reigns had ever watched any WWE before, he would know that what happened next would not be good for him as SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis declared that the title match at the Royal Rumble would now be a Fatal Four-Way with Reigns, Knight, Styles, and Orton all involved.

Roman Reigns To Sign Contract For WWE Title Match

On the 12th of January edition of SmackDown, Styles, Knight, and Orton were forced to put their differences aside as they teamed together to take on The Bloodline. However, Roman Reigns very much left Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa in the lurch as he wasn’t even at the show despite Nick Aldis making the match.

That left Paul Heyman scrambling to find Uso and Sikoa a third man before deciding no one else on the show deserved to stand with The Bloodline – he clearly had a plan though.

As Randy Orton made his entrance, Sikoa and Uso attacked, taking him out of the match early on to even the teams. Ultimately, Orton made a triumphant return as the match wore on, picking up the pinfall on Jimmy Uso after an RKO.

Roman Reigns will be on SmackDown on the 19th of January as the contract signing will take place for the huge WWE Universal Championship match at the Royal Rumble.
