Roman Reigns Training Video Emerges, WWE Hiatus Continues (Video)
Roman Reigns is working hard away from the WWE spotlight.
At WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns suffered one of the biggest losses of his career when he was finally pinned by Cody Rhodes. Not only did the American Nightmare end the night with his hand raised, but he also snatched the Undisputed WWE Championship from Reigns’ iron grip.
Following the loss, Reigns disappeared from television with Solo Sikoa assuming his role as the head of the Bloodline as the group hurtles toward civil war. To add to the intrigue, The Rock is also taking a break from the ring as he returns to Hollywood.
However, Reigns hasn’t been sitting at home taking it easy. Bodybuilder and actor Kai Greene has shared a video on Instagram of the pair working out in partnership with Core Champs. Greene wrote the following caption for the clip.
“RISE UP💥,” Greene wrote in the caption of the post. “Keep pushing, keep dreaming, and never let self doubt or fear stop get in the way. This is your journey, the pursuit of greatness is within grasp…all you have to do is go out there and earn it. HUGE shoutout to @romanreigns for tagging me in on this training session!”
Roman Reigns WrestleMania 41 Plans Unclear
At present, Roman Reigns isn’t advertised to return to WWE until the SmackDown before SummerSlam on August 2nd. While it would seem logical that Reigns would find himself in a marquee match at the event, his creative direction remains unclear.
A rematch with Cody Rhodes would certainly get fans talking, and according to reports that match won’t happen at WrestleMania 41. The most recent update on the main event picture suggested Rhodes will be squaring off against The Rock in Las Vegas.
