Roman Reigns Says SummerSlam Match Will “Define The Future Of Our Family”
Roman Reigns believes that not only is the Undisputed WWE Universal Title on the line at SummerSlam but so is the future of his family.
The Undisputed WWE Universal Title match will likely headline SummerSlam this Saturday night in Detroit as Roman Reigns defends his big gold belt against his cousin, “Main Event” Jey Uso.
It’s a match that has had a personal feel to it since they grew up together almost like brothers and for the last three years, they have been on the same page for the most part.
Now that everything has fallen appart in the relationship, Jey Uso is not just coming for the Unidisputed Universal Title, but also for the role of Tribal Chief that Reigns hold dearly.
During an appearance on ESPN’s First Take, Roman Reigns spoke about how facing Jey Uso will define the future of their family.
“This Saturday, it’s a lot like every other championship defense, this [the title] will be on the line. But what makes this so special and Tribal Combat is the title of The Tribal Chief will be on the line as well, the leadership of our family, this isn’t the right kind of table, but the head of the table will be up for grabs. So this will define the future of our family, our legacy and our bloodline.”
