Roman Reigns Pulled Out Of WWE Draft
Roman Reigns has indicated that his WWE return is not going to happen in the near future as he pulled out of the draft pool ahead of SmackDown.
Roman Reigns lost his WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40 as Cody Rhodes finished his story. Since then Reigns has taken on a new role outside of WWE but has not been in the company as The Bloodline completely transforms.
In the absence of Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa has assumed control of the group and brutally kicked out Jimmy Uso following his loss to his brother Jey at WrestleMania. That opened the door for Sikoa to welcome in former NJPW star Tama Tonga.
Roman Reigns Not Returning To WWE Immediately
The 2024 WWE Draft kicked off on the 26th of April edition of SmackDown and originally Roman Reigns was listed to be drafted with Sikoa, Tonga, and Paul Heyman as The Bloodline. However, Paul Heyman announced at the start of SmackDown that Reigns had withdrawn from the draft as he has no immediate plans to return to the ring. Heyman framed the decision as Reigns not wanting to “hog the spotlight” but the seeds have now been planted for The Tribal Chief to distance himself from Tonga and Sikoa.

With Roman Reigns not being drafted with the group, it might explain why The Bloodline was only the 11th overall pick in the draft, with Reigns in the mix, it surely would have received a higher billing.
