Roman Reigns’ First Opponent After WWE Return Predicted
WWE may have given fans a hint about Roman Reigns’ next opponent.
The OTC1 made a spectacular return to Monday Night RAW and saved his cousin Jey Uso and CM Punk from Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
Breakker was one of Reigns’ attackers during his last WWE appearance in April. It was also the night when he aligned with Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman.
With the 40-year-old returning just before SummerSlam, it is fair to assume that he will have a match at the August premium live event.
During the latest The Last Word podcast episode, the panel discussed Roman Reigns’ next potential challenge in the squared circle.
Former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci was clear about who he would like to see as Reigns’ opponent.
It just proves how this man (Reigns) is the king, right? I mean, that pop for him coming out was just unbelievable. He’s the man, there is no doubt about it. I bet you, at SummerSlam, and this is my prediction, I bet he goes against Bron Breakker at SummerSlam. [7:16 onwards]
Paul Heyman Hyped Up Bron Breakker Before Roman Reigns’ Return
One of the wrestlers who stole the spotlight at Saturday Night’s Main Event was Gunther.
On RAW, ‘The Ring General’ basked in the glory of retiring Goldberg and asking who his next opponent was.
He was then interrupted by Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman.
Before the main event gauntlet match featuring Breakker, Heyman was all praise for his stablemate, calling him “The Next Big Thing” and “The Big Dog.”
He also taunted Gunther by naming Breakker as the man who would beat him at SummerSlam.
Unfortunately, things did not go as planned for them, as Punk beat Breakker to secure a championship match against the Austrian.
