Roman Reigns Reveals Favourite WrestleMania Moment
Ahead of his sixth main event at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’, Roman Reigns has revealed his favourite WrestleMania moment.
As one of the top WWE Superstars of the last decade, Roman Reigns has had more WrestleMania moments than most, so narrowing down his favourite is no small task.
However, as the latest star to feature on WWE’s My WrestleMania Moment series, ‘The Tribal Chief’ was asked to do just that, something he said was “pretty much impossible”.
“You want me to pick my favourite WrestleMania moment? It’s pretty much impossible,
I have so many of them, I’m a 5-time, soon to be a 6-time WrestleMania main eventer. I should have been a 7-time main eventer if real life [COVID-19] didn’t happen.”
In the end, Reigns chose the finish of his bout at WrestleMania 37. The end of the match showcased ‘The head of the Table’ at his most dominant as he pinned both Daniel Bryan and Edge simultaneously to retain the Universal Championship.
“As a matter of fact, I think I’ll go with 2021. At Raymond James Stadium, I smashed ’em, stacked ’em up, and pinned ’em. I created the most definitive WrestleMania main event finish of all time. So yeah, when I beat Daniel Bryan and Edge – like it was nothing!”
In the main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania 38, Roman Reigns will meet WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in a Title vs. Title, winner takes all match. The promotion for the match to date hints that we will see the unification of the WWE and Universal Championships.
Roman Reigns has held the Universal Title for a record 549 days and counting, making him the longest-reigning champion in the title’s history, while Brock Lesnar captured the WWE Championship for the seventh time at Elimination Chamber in February.
