Roman Reigns Comments On Elevating Others In WWE

Ahead of tonight’s WrestleMania 39 main event, Roman Reigns has shared his thoughts on being able to elevate other members of the WWE locker room.

Reigns is hours away from defending the Universal Championship, a Title he has now held for 945 days, and the WWE Championship that he won by beating Brock Lesnar at last years Show of the Immortals.

With this being the seventh time The Tribal Chief has headlined WrestleMania, Reigns is by far the stand out name in the current WWE roster.

Taking part in his final press interview ahead of facing the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhoades at SoFi Stadium, Reigns was asked about how he enhances those he shares the screen with.

Reigns discussed the WWE mindset toward building for the future during an interview with Ariel Helwani for BT Sport,

“It’s a team. We’re a company. There’s this crazy inter-competition that’s always going on but at the end of the day we’re a team, so I just want to do what’s best for the team. To be the only guy being raised up just didn’t feel right to me, so the quickest way to do that was to link up with the people I know best.

“If we can’t lift everybody up then we aren’t what we say we are. The Tribal Chief, the high tide lifts all the ships. That’s the most important thing for me, and that was what was critical to get us to where we are now.”

“We [The Bloodline] can be a big star and be doing pretty well or we can lift everything up and make it better. Be the energy behind all this growth and reach heights we’ve never had, and that’s what we’re doing.”

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns have delivered gripping and emotional promos during the Road to WrestleMania, including Reigns claiming that he was Dusty Rhodes chosen son.

By appearing alongside Reigns, The American Nightmare has been elevated into a main event star in the eyes of WWE fans, whilst one Hall of Famer claims its “pivotal” Rhodes wins.

The Uso’s are one of the most successful tag teams in WWE history, but being part of The Bloodline has also enhanced their position.

Whilst a year long storyline with Reigns has made Sami Zayn the joint hottest babyface, with fan engagement so high, it led to Triple H placing him in the main event for night one of WrestleMania 39.

Roman Reigns schedule has become lighter in recent years, and has also discussed what the future holds with WWE.
