OG Bloodline Survives Roman Reigns And CM Punk Tension To Win At Survivor Series

Roman Reigns at CM Punk inside WarGames

There was no love lost between CM Punk and Roman Reigns at Survivor Series.

On the November 22nd episode of SmackDown, Paul Heyman returned to television and brought CM Punk with him. The Wiseman announced that Punk would be joining the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series, and despite now having more backup, Reigns was far from happy.

The tension continued into the go-home edition of the show during a sitdown where CM Punk told Paul Heyman that he owed him a favour.

Come the big night, the pair managed to put their issues to one side but only just. At one stage, Reigns prevented Punk from entering the match, and once they were both in the action, he accidentally hit him with a Spear. The unease was there for all to see as Heyman urged the pair to work together.

Heyman’s pleas appeared to work with Punk saving Reigns as he was nearly driven through a table, and then the entire OG Bloodline team united to grab the win.

After the match, Reigns and Punk shook hands before the latter reminded Heyman he owed him a favour.

What Next For Roman Reigns?

Despite the tension, it’s been reported that CM Punk and Roman Reigns will go their separate ways following Survivor Series. According to the report, Reigns will remain aligned with The Usos and Sami Zayn, but Punk will move on.

However, Roman Reigns is expected to be a regular on Monday Night Raw in the early part of 2025 — something that will put him into Punk’s orbit once again.
