Ricky Saints Wants AEW Rematch As He Names WWE Dream Opponents

Ricky Saints

NXT Champion Ricky Saints wants to run things back in WWE with one man he shared an AEW ring with.

Ricky Saints has been on the fast track to the top of NXT since he made the jump from AEW to WWE. Saints defeated Oba Femi at No Mercy to claim the NXT Championship and retained that gold when he saw off Trick Williams’ challenge at Halloween Havoc.

But it seems that Saints has plans to share the ring with a lot of top names in WWE.

Ricky Saints Wants Cody Rhodes Match In WWE

Speaking on The Five Count, Saints discussed some of the current WWE wrestlers he wants to share the ring with, including names such as his good friend and former AEW opponent, Cody Rhodes:

I’m definitely looking forward to Seth Rollins. Obviously, getting my rematch against Cody has to happen for sure. Dominik Mysterio’s another one, Carmelo Hayes, those types of people. I don’t really have a long list.

I think just because there are people that I’m intrigued by in terms of wrestling, but I never do a list just because I don’t want to get mad if it never happens. I don’t want to hold myself to this list, and I’m just like, ‘Dang it, it never happened.’

Saints made his AEW debut in June 2020 when he answered Cody Rhodes’ open challenge for the TNT Championship, which Rhodes retained.
