Ric Flair Reveals Staggering Cameo Earnings
Ric Flair has revealed that he is doing very well just by filming Cameo videos for fans that want the “Nature Boy” to deliver messages to their family and friends.
As a living legend in pro wrestling, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is recognized as one of the most well-known professional wrestlers of all time. Flair’s pro wrestling career goes back to the 1970s and even though he had his last WWE match in 2008, he’s still very relevant today in pop culture just days before he turns 74 years old (this Saturday).
There’s a company called Cameo that allows fans to choose a celebrity to record a personalized video for them. Sometimes people use it to send a birthday greeting or simply a positive message to lift the spirits of somebody important to them.
In the case of Ric Flair, you can get a Cameo message from him for $500 US for a personal message that might run for just over one minute and a business video goes for a whopping $10,000 US.
On a recent episode of his “To Be The Man” podcast, Ric Flair revealed that he’s made a lot of money doing Cameo messages over the last 21 months.
“Listen, I made $700,000 doing Cameos. They’re just a minute long [laughs]. That’s just talking for two minutes. That is 21 months.”
Ric Flair continued by showing his phone to the camera showing that the dollar amount is $669,000 from Cameo. The reviews for Ric Flair are very positive on Cameo as well since he’s rated at 4.9 stars out of five.
Flair’s co-host/son-in-law Conrad Thompson laughed about how fans thought when Flair had his last match in 2022 there were people that thought he did it just because he needed the money. Clearly, Ric is doing just fine.
Recently, Ric Flair also revealed that there is a “Housewives of Wrestling” TV show in the works that also includes Ric and his partner Wendy Barlow.
