WWE Legend Ric Flair Speaks Out On Raja Jackson-Syko Stu Incident

Ric Flair WWE Hall of Fame

WWE legend Ric Flair recently addressed the Raja Jackson-Syko Stu incident.

On August 23, during a KnokX Pro Academy event, wrestler Syko Stu was featured in a work involving MMA star Raja Jackson, who is the son of former UFC fighter Rampage Jackson.

Earlier, the duo was captured in a video engaged in a confrontation when Stu hit Jackson on the head with a beer can.

Stu appeared confused as to why there was no sell from Jackson and was later informed that he was not a “worker.” Stu apologized to Jackson and everything looked fine between them.

It was also reported that another wrestler had instigated Jackson about giving Stu a “receipt” for his earlier attack.

After Syko Stu’s match, Jackson, who was among the audience, ran into the ring, lifted Stu and dropped him on his back, which apparently knocked him out cold. He then unleashed a barrage of punches before being separated by security personnel.

A video of the incident went viral on social media, sparking concerns about health, safety, and wellness among professional wrestlers.

The incident also received widespread criticism, with many wrestlers and fans calling for Raja Jackson to face justice.

Ric Flair Condemns Raja Jackson’s Attack On Syko Stu

“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair recently appeared on an interview with The Escapist Magazine.

One of the subjects that the WWE Hall of Famer touched upon was that of the Raja Jackson-Syko Stu incident.

I’m very close to Rampage and I tried calling him, but obviously he wasn’t taking calls. Can you understand in a way, sometimes you can lose your temper in the moment and snap like that, then regret it afterwards? Yeah, but not to that extent. A receipt here or there keeps everybody straight. But not to that extent, Ric Flair said.

A week later, Syko Stu was released from hospital, and as per the latest update, he is planning legal action against Raja Jackson.
