Ric Flair Predicts AEW Star Will Make WWE Return

Ric Flair

Ric Flair has made a big prediction.

Ric Flair has never been shy about praising his daughter Charlotte in interviews, and he’s convinced she’s heading for big things in 2025.

During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Ric discussed Charlotte’s impending comeback while reflecting on her old rivalry with Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks), claiming the pair had the best chemistry of all time.

The WWE Hall of Famer went on to claim that Mone would eventually leave AEW and return to WWE.

“I look at Sasha [and] she has that mindset that she can do whatever she wants to do because she’s that good. I think that ultimately she’ll end up back in the WWE. If you look at the last 10 years, what Sasha has been able to do and what Ashley has been able to do, and maybe a couple others…name the guys that can stay on top for 10 years. Never take a step back, always in the main event…”

Ahead of making her AEW debut, Mercedes Mone admitted she will return to WWE one day. She followed that up with another admission in August, confirming she wanted to rejoin the company in 2023.

Ric Flair Dismisses Fan Theory On John Cena

During the same interview, Ric Flair claimed John Cena doesn’t care about winning a 17th World Title. WWE records have Cena and Flair tied on 16 world title wins with many tipping the former to win the company’s top prize one more time before he retires in 2025.

However, Flair suggested Cena “doesn’t give a sh*t” about the record, as he’s now in a “different world.”

Unsurprisingly, Flair thinks his daughter Charlotte is more likely to surpass him when she returns from injury. The former Women’s Champion has been out of action since suffering a major knee injury in December 2023.
