Ric Flair has admitted he’d like to wrestle again.

The Nature Boy has been back in the news after penning a new deal with AEW, and that has led to speculation he could end his retirement — again.

Flair is no stranger to a comeback having famously retired while with WWE only to get back in the ring in TNA.

On November 2nd it was announced that Ric Flair had signed a new deal with AEW, which will see his Wooooo! Energy brand became the official energy drink of All Elite Wrestling. The announcement came after Flair made his AEW debut a week earlier appearing on Dynamite alongside Sting.

While Flair has previously given contradictory statements about a comeback, he’s now admitted he would like to wrestle again. However, the admission came with the caveat that he doesn’t think he will.

Speaking to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the 16-time World Champion revealed he’s been cleared to take bumps in the ring.

“No, I don’t think I will. If you’re asking me if I want to? I have to be careful what I say because it never comes out (the right way). I just made it very clear to everybody that I can take bumps. I have a doctor’s release to do anything I want like that. Do I think I’ll wrestle again? No. Would I like to? Obviously. I’m never going to say no,”

During a different interview, it was confirmed Ric Flair’s AEW deal is for two years.

When Did Ric Flair Last Wrestle?

Ric Flair hasn’t wrestled since teaming with Andrade El Idolo to defeat Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett on July 31st, 2022. During the match at the special Jim Crockett Promotions event, Flair struggled badly and even passed out, something he attributed to dehydration.

The match was his first since September 2011 when squared off against Sting in TNA,
