Ric Flair Fires Back After Apparent Snub By The Rock

Ric Flair isn’t a happy man.

It was recently announced that The Rock and Seven Bucks Promotions would be linking up with the makers of Dark Side of The Ring for a new documentary.

The new four-part series titled “Who Killed WCW?” will premiere on Tuesday, June 4th at 10 pm on VICE. Diving into the rise and spectacular fall of WCW, the series is sure to get fans talking, with makers hoping to bring a fresh perspective to the well-told story.

As shown in a new teaser clip, the documentary will feature contributions from the likes of Eric Bischoff, Kevin Nash, Booker T, Madusa, Goldberg, Bret Hart, Diamond Dallas Page, and Vince Russo. However, it seems one big name is missing.

Ric Flair Blasts “Usual Bullsh*t”

Despite his high-profile role in WCW both in front and behind the camera, it seems Ric Flair won’t be involved in the project. In a post on social media, Flair called his omission “embarrassing.”

“As Usual More Bullshit, No Interview With Ric Flair Who Was WCW, And Who Made Everyone There For 20 Years. Run By The The Same People Who Killed The Company. How Embarrassing!! A Documentary About WCW Without Me! And According To @EBischoff On @83Weeks, I Was The Greatest WCW Wrestler, And I Made Everyone In The Company As There Wouldn’t Be Anyone Without Me. Diamonds Are Forever And So Is Ric Flair! For You Haters, Please Go To 83 Weeks With Eric Bischoff If You Have A Problem!”

However, some have questioned Flair’s desire to be involved, given his history with Dark Side of The Ring. In the show’s most famous episode on the “Plane Ride From Hell,” the Nature Boy was accused of sexual misconduct.
