Ric Flair Denies Cancer Claims

Ric Flair

Ric Flair has assured everybody that he’s doing well in terms of his health and plans to live a lot longer.

The legendary two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time due to a career as an active wrestler that lasted over 40 years.

In the last decade, Ric Flair has had several health scares and nearly lost his life in 2017, but somehow, he was able to get through it.

At the age of 76, Flair’s days in the ring are over, but the 16-time former World Champion is still making appearances to meet wrestling fans and constantly wants to show them that he’s doing well.

Recently, Ric Flair’s son-in-law, Conrad Thompson, mentioned on X that people were making fun of apparent cuts on Flair’s head. Thompson said that Flair had skin cancer removed. That led to people thinking that Flair was in a battle against cancer. When it comes to skin cancer for seniors, it is oftentimes something that can just be removed rather than some ongoing battle.

After the comments about his health, Ric Flair went on X recently to make it clear he wasn’t fighting cancer, and he was fine.

“I’m sorry people have been misled by social media. But I don’t have cancer of any kind. Thank you for your concerns and for everyone reaching out. I am absolutely fine. And unfortunately, you’ll have to live and put up with me for another 25 years.”

AEW Bringing Ric Flair Back To Television

Ric Flair’s good friend Steve ‘Mongo’ McMichael recently passed away after a long battle with ALS. McMichael was an NFL Hall of Fame player with the Chicago Bears and a WCW wrestler/announcer in the late 1990s after this football career was over.

Tony Schiavone announced on Thursday night at AEW Collision that on Collision Beach Break in Chicago, AEW will hold a tribute to Steve McMichael, with Ric Flair announced to be in attendance.

Even though Flair hasn’t appeared on AEW television in over a year, he remains under contract with Tony Khan’s company, which signed him in early 2024 as part of Sting’s retirement storyline.
