Rhea Ripley Takes Very Personal Shot At WWE Rival

Rhea Ripley is not mincing words when it comes to exchanging barbs with her on-screen WWE rival Liv Morgan.

The WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event NBC special saw Liv Morgan retain the Women’s World Championship against IYO SKY. After the match was over, Rhea Ripley made her presence felt by having a staredown with Morgan by the entrance area.

Since Liv Morgan holds the Women’s World Championship that Rhea Ripley never lost in an actual (she was forced to forfeit the title due to injury), Ripley has been on a quest to get the title back. Morgan has managed to keep the title away from Ripley thanks to help from Liv’s on-screen boyfriend Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez, who is a close ally of Morgan.

During the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, Rhea Ripley got the win for her team by pinning Liv Morgan after hitting the Riptide slam.

That win by Ripley at Survivor Series will likely lead to Ripley getting another shot at the Women’s World Title held by Morgan, but nothing has been officially announced yet.

Rhea Ripley Mocks Liv Morgan’s Previous Arrest

A lot of current WWE superstars are active on social media, which they use to further storylines. Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan have been no strangers to that during their rivalry.

In a recent exchange on X/Twitter, Ripley posted a photo of herself, Morgan fired back with a line about how she is “dating” Dominik Mysterio, who used to be with Ripley. When Rhea said she didn’t need a man like that, Morgan replied again and then Ripley fired back at Morgan:

I normally have to tell people to go touch grass… but you, you need to touch it a little less my dude.

Ripley’s “touch grass” comment was referring to the fact that Liv Morgan was arrested in December 2023 in Sumter County, Florida after a traffic stop. Morgan was arrested for possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams), possession of drug equipment, and possession of drugs, possibly synthetic cannabinoids.

While talking about the incident, Liv Morgan was concerned that the arrest could lead to her being fired by WWE. The good news for Morgan is that the case was dropped and Morgan had to pay a fine, but that was it. Obviously, it is something that Morgan’s rivals in WWE are going to use against her.
