Rhea Ripley Wants To Have “Massive Story” With Top WWE Star
Rhea Ripley has a major WWE star in mind as somebody she wants to have a long-term story with.
As the Smackdown Women’s Champion and a first overall pick in the recent WWE Draft, Rhea Ripley is in a great spot in WWE these days. After all, Ripley likes to say that her group, The Judgment Day, “runs Raw” and she is featured prominently on the red brand every week with Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio.
It’s been an incredible 2023 so far for Ripley since she won the Women’s Royal Rumble match and beat Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 39 in what was an all-time great match.
Since winning the Smackdown Women’s Title, Rhea Ripley has beaten Zelina Vega and Natalya to keep her title. Whoever steps up against Ripley in the future will have a challenge on their hands because the powerful Australian looks dominant as ever these days.
While speaking to Mark Andrews of the My Love Letter to Wrestling podcast, Rhea Ripley named a current Smackdown superstar as somebody she wants to have a major rivalry with.
“I wanna have a massive story and build with Bianca (Belair). There’s something so special there that could be done so I want something to happen with Bianca and I and then also, I wanna tag with Raquel Rodriguez on TV. “
There were some backstage teases between Belair and Ripley earlier this year, but they have yet to have a long rivalry on the main roster. Belair recently lost the Raw Women’s Title to Asuka at Night of Champions after Belair held that title for 419 days.
In the past, Ripley has said that Raquel Rodriguez is one of her best friends, so it’s not a surprise that she would want to team with her.
