Rhea Ripley Comments On Upcoming Mixed Tag Match

Rhea Ripley is ready for NXT Heatwave.

The WWE Women’s World Champion will compete on the developmental brand once again on Tuesday, August 22nd in a mixed tag match. Bringing Dominik Mysterio as her partner, The Judgment Day duo will take on Dragon Lee and Lara Valkyria following the duo standing tall on August 8th.

Taking to social media to address the match, Ripley would quote a video of Lee and Valkyria needing to get on the same page with the following caption:

Pendejo & Pendeja bout to get their culos kicked!

Roughly translated, it means that the two idiots are going to get their asses kicked!

WWE is presenting the Heatwave edition of the show like a mini pay-per-view, featuring both main roster stars in action and the NXT Championship on the line in the main event, as Carmelo Hayes defends the title against the man who Dom Dom defeated to become North American Champion, Wes Lee.

Rhea Ripley Hopes To Continue WWE Dominance

Mami has been at the top of the Raw Women’s Division ever since WrestleMania 39, where Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair to become the SmackDown Women’s Champion [later renamed the Women’s World Championship] after winning the Royal Rumble from the number one position.

Following a squash victory over Natalya at Night of Champions, The Eradicator faced The Hart family member in a rematch in July, where Natalya put up more of a fight but the end result was the same. More recently, Ripley has been used on Premium Live Event cards to interfere in Judgment Day matches instead of defending the championship.

Ripley continued the dominance on the Raw 24 hours prior to her NXT appearance, defeating Indi Hartwell in quick fashion.
