Rhea Ripley Breaks Silence After WWE Title Misery
Rhea Ripley faced heartbreak on WWE Raw as her lengthy reign as Women’s World Champion came crashing to a premature end.
Rhea Ripley retained her Women’s World Title against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40 as she continued her dominance in WWE. However, on the Raw following WWE’s showpiece event, things changed drastically.
Ripley was attacked backstage by her former tag team partner Liv Morgan and had her shoulder driven into the wall of the arena. It seems that attack led to a real-life injury that brought heartache to The Judgment Day’s Eradicator.
On Raw in Montreal, Rhea Ripley announced she had to relinquish the Women’s World Championship due to injury. Ripley’s misery was compounded when she was confronted by Liv Morgan who was gloating at what she had done to the now-former champion.
Rhea Ripley Reflects On WWE Title Reign
Taking to social media, Ripley sent out a simple message of “380 days” as she acknowledged the length of her reign as Women’s World Champion.

One report has suggested a timeline for Rhea Ripley’s return to the ring which could put her in line for a comeback in time for SummerSlam.
A return for WWE’s major shows in France, Scotland, and Germany over the summer may come too soon for Ripley however.
