Retired Ex-WWE Champion Teases Return For One More Run
Retired ex-WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool wants to return to WWE for one more run.
McCool’s last regular WWE match of her full-time run was at Extreme Rules 2011, where she faced Layla in a “Loser Leaves WWE” match.
She lost the match and thus left the Stamford-based company and retired from the ring.
However, she has returned to WWE a few times, making special one-off in-ring appearances at the Royal Rumble 2018, 2022, 2023, and Evolution 2018.
It has been a few years since she last stepped inside the square circle, but the inaugural Divas Champion still has some gas left in the tank.
Hall of Famer Michelle McCool Wants To Have A Tag Team Run In WWE
Speaking to Bayley on the Six Feet Under podcast with her husband and co-host, The Undertaker, McCool stated that she’s open to having one more run in the Stamford-based company.
She stated that she would like to return as Bayley or Liv Morgan’s tag team partner if they need one. This came up while the stars were discussing the evolution of women’s tag team division.
I mean, you did mention at the beginning, Liv did reach out before WrestleMania, so if maybe Liv’s in need of a partner or maybe you need a partner, I’m just saying I can go one time… One run. I love watching all the odd connections. (From 1:08:49)
Bayley is currently in a tag team storyline with Lyra Valkyria, while Liv Morgan is involved with The Judgement Day.
But there are plenty of other famous superstars who would love to collaborate with WWE Hall of Famer Michelle McCool for a tag team storyline.
