Renee Paquette On MJF’s Impression Of Jon Moxley

Renee Paquette MJF

Renee Paquette made her opinion known on MJF impersonating her husband Jon Moxley ahead of AEW Full Gear!

On the October 26th episode of AEW Dynamite, newly-signed broadcaster Renee Paquette was tasked with interviewing Maxwell Jacob Friedman ahead of his upcoming AEW World Championship match with her husband Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear. During the interview, MJF broke into a hilarious impression of Moxley, impersonating both his mannerisms and speech patterns before calling his future opponent “mid” and taking William Regal to task for his comments about the young star.

Speaking on the latest episode of AEW Unrestricted, Paquette responded to Friedman’s impression of her husband, calling the Dynamite Diamond Ring winner a “world-class perfomer” as well as a “little sh*t.”

“It was actually a pretty good impression, not that we’re surprised by that, MJF is MJF, he’s a world-class performer. Obviously, I didn’t see it prior to going out, I didn’t see him going over it or anything. Me seeing it out there for the first time and being able to hear what he was saying, anytime someone does the Jon mannerism that’s the big shoulder movement, is pretty fun. The lower brow, skulking around, MJF did his due diligence in his Jon Moxley performance. Little sh*t.”

Continuing, Paquette said that she was happy to be doing an on-screen interview with the young star so early in her AEW tenure, comparing the interaction to those she had with Paul Heyman during her time as Renee Young in WWE.

“I was happy to see that I was doing a promo early on with MJF because I kind of wanted to witness what he does up close like that. I was talking to him ahead of time, and I used to do a lot of promos with Paul Heyman, and that kind of performance, I like being able to work with people like that because it gives me so much to do, even if it’s just a small facial reaction, I love getting to do stuff like that.”
