The Reason AEW Pulled Adam Cole From TV Revealed
Adam Cole is still facing a long road to recovery and now a report has shone a light on why AEW has changed its approach with the star.
After missing several months due to serious concussion-related issues, Adam Cole finally returned to the ring in March 2023. The star ended up with MJF and the pair won the ROH Tag Team Title, despite also competing against each other for the AEW World Championship.
However, at Dynamite Grand Slam in September 2023, Cole broke his ankle while performing a run-in and hasn’t wrestled since. Despite this, the star has continued to appear on television and was revealed as The Devil who had been tormenting MJF at Worlds End.
While injured Adam Cole continued to appear on AEW TV alongside his new Undisputed Kingdom group comprising himself, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, and Wardlow but that has now changed.
Adam Cole Pulled From The Road
Now Fightful Select has given an update on Adam Cole’s condition after he disappeared from TV completely. Cole is said to be nowhere close to returning to the ring and there was a feeling that his continuing to be on the road was hampering his recovery. There is no timetable for his return and while Cole might still appear on AEW TV while injured, the frequency of that has been cut down drastically.
