Real Reason Rhea Ripley Missed WWE Raw

Rhea Ripley was notable for her absence from WWE Raw but now the reason for her absence has been revealed.

Charlotte Flair has named her WrestleMania match after winning the Royal Rumble leaving Rhea Ripley still unsure of who she will be putting the Women’s World Championship on the line against at WrestleMania 41.

Ripley will face the winner of the Elimination Chamber match on March 1 as Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez, Bayley, Alexa Bliss, Naomi, and Bianca Belair do battle.

But for now, while those women jockey for the upper hand going into that bout, Rhea Ripley is enjoying some well-earned time away from the ring. Ripley was not at Raw in Charlotte, North Carolina as she was enjoying her honeymoon with AEW star Buddy Matthews.

Buddy Matthews was injured at AEW Grand Slam Australia before his match with Kazuchika Okada even took place. Taking to social media, Rhea Ripley noted that his injury wasn’t going to keep them from enjoying their time together:

Before WrestleMania, however, Ripley will put her Women’s World Title on the line against IYO SKY on the March 3 edition of Raw.
