RAW Star Named The Best Female Wrestler In WWE Today

WWE’s RAW roster has some of the top female talent in the business.

Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and Becky Lynch are some of the few names on the star-studded red brand roster. Of all these talented female wrestlers and more on the RAW roster, WWE legend Leilani Kai feels IYO SKY is the best.

The former WWF Women’s Champion recently appeared on the Busted Open podcast, where she stated that she thinks IYO SKY is the best female wrestler in WWE today.

“There’s IYO SKY – I think she’s the greatest lady wrestler at the moment. They’re all good, but she’s ahead. I just watch and I think she’s probably the best wrestler at the moment.”

She also gave high praise to the current NXT Women’s North American Champion, Blake Monroe, and the current WWE Women’s United States Champion, Chelsea Green.

“I like Blake Monroe. She has a good personality, she’s doing real well with what she does and her little gimmick she’s doing. I think she’s the real thing though.”

“Then there’s Chelsea Green. She’s a different personality. She can work but she’s a good entertainer verbally. She makes me laugh. She’s very funny.” [H/T WrestleTalk]

Sky is indeed one of the best in the business right now. She is a one-time WWE Women’s Champion, one-time Women’s World Champion, two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion (with Dakota Kai), one-time NXT Women’s Champion, and one-time NXT Women’s Champion.

She also won the 2023 Money in the Bank ladder match and the 2022 women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic (with Alba Fyre). But did you know that she once considered quitting wrestling?

Why WWE Star IYO SKY Wanted TO Quit Wrestling?

Speaking to Chris van Vliet on his Insight podcast, The Genius Of Sky revealed that she felt so embarrassed after her debut match that she’d considered quitting. Fortunately, she didn’t follow through.

I feel like I was just so embarrassed because my debut match was so bad, and maybe the audience was only 30 people, but I felt so embarrassed. So I thought I want to quit, but actually I was so frustrated as well. So maybe I have to become stronger.
