Randy Orton Gives Update On His Whereabouts Amid WWE Absence

Randy Orton

Randy Orton is currently on a hiatus from WWE.

A day ago, Orton’s wife, Kim, shared pictures on Instagram, revealing that the Orton family was on vacation in Belize. Now, the Viper took to social media to disclose that they are back from the vacation. He thanked his friends and family who took out time to spend some days with him on vacation. He also revealed that he and his wife were celebrating 10 years of marriage.

“Just back from vacation with family and friends. As a father, nothing better than seeing my family smile. As a husband, nothing better than seeing my wife happy. Thank you for coming with me to Belize to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, my love,” he wrote.

Orton’s last match in WWE was on the October 3 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, where he took on The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed with Cody Rhodes.

Randy Orton Lost In Storyline Limbo

Randy Orton’s 2025 in WWE has been a bit of a rough ride story-wise, especially considering he’s one of the most decorated legends in the business. Despite his legendary status, WWE has struggled to lock down a solid, ongoing storyline for him this year. The one bright spot was a high-profile match against John Cena at WWE Backlash in May 2025.

Earlier in 2025, The Apex Predator was gearing up for a big feud with Kevin Owens. Unfortunately, The Prizefighter suffered a serious neck injury in April, which forced WWE to scrap their WrestleMania 41 match and put an abrupt halt to that storyline. This injury left Orton without a key rival and storyline anchor, making his character float in limbo without clear direction.

Much of the year felt like Orton was on the back burner, with WWE not finding a strong narrative footing for the veteran star despite his efforts to stay relevant. WWE keeps hinting at his potential heel turns and big match setups, but they never flesh them out, leaving fans hoping when Orton will get his deserved spotlight.
