Randy Orton Set To Break Huge WWE Record At Survivor Series

Randy Orton

Randy Orton is on course to break an all-time WWE record when he appears at this year’s Survivor Series on November 21st.

At Survivor Series, Raw Tag Team Champions Randy Orton and Riddle will clash with the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Usos. This will mark the ‘Viper’s 177th WWE pay-per-view match.

According to The Internet Wrestling Database, this means that Orton will have competed at more WWE pay-per-view events than any Superstar in the company’s storied history. At the moment, Orton is tied with Kane on 176 appearances.

The top five also includes The Undertaker on 174, Triple H on 173, and John Cena on 163. The top female Superstar on the list is Charlotte Flair at 58 pay-per-view events.

Randy Orton also ties Triple H for second place in championship reigns at 14, they are beaten by Ric Flair and John Cena who have both held world titles 16 times.

Orton is also third on the all-time list for World Championship reigns alongside Triple H with 14. Another interesting statistic concerns Survivor Series, where Orton is behind only The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, and Kane in his number of appearances at the event. All three of the latter have appeared at 17 events, while Orton is hot on their heels at 14.

This year’s WWE Survivor Series takes place on Sunday, November 21st and is headlined by WWE Champion Big E taking on Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
