Randy Orton Reacts To John Cena’s Heartbreaking WWE Announcement

John Cena on WWE Raw

John Cena is set to have his last appearance on RAW next week.

On November 17, the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion will make his final RAW appearance, which will emanate live from Madison Square Garden in New York City. He’ll take on a mystery opponent on the show. Days before the event, John Cena shared a heartbreaking announcement on social media, where he reminded everyone that it would be his last match on RAW.

Cena tweeted, “Over 23 years you’ve allowed me to have 544 matches on #WWERaw. The most in WWE history. My favorite match… is my next one! Which will be our LAST ONE! Don’t miss our last chance to grace @TheGarden ring as we say farewell to RAW live, Monday night on @netflix at 8pm ET!”

Reacting to Cena’s tweet on X, WWE legend and one of Cena’s most popular rivals, Randy Orton, shared a cryptic message. The message was in the form of a GIF with John Cena’s face edited with the text: ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?This message vaguely suggests that next week might not be Cena’s last match on RAW.

R-Truth Comments On John Cena’s Future

R-Truth shares a similar sentiment as The Viper because he also thinks that, although John Cena may be retiring from the ring, he’s not done with the wrestling business, and the fans will see him in WWE down the road.

R-Truth said, “It’s bittersweet. Because every ride comes to a stop right? We all have to jump off a ride at some time whether we like it or not. We have to. And sometime it’s good to be able to jump off that ride and walk into the sunset and hop on an another one. Sometime it’s good to do that, a lot of the time it’s good to do that. It’s best he’s able to do it his own way.”

“He’s able to go out on his own terms. You can’t get no better than that, to leave such an impression on people and in people’s lives and on the business and to be able to walk off into the sunset and ride another horse. We ain’t done seeing him, he’s just retiring from this walk of life now. So I think it’s awesome. My hat’s off to him, I won’t stop applauding him.”
