R-Truth Suffers Betrayal On WWE Raw
R-Truth has become the latest victim of Karrion Kross but Kross didn’t get his hands dirty, rather leaving that to one of Truth’s most trusted friends.
The effect of Karrion Kross and The Final Testament continues to be seen on Monday Night Raw as the seed of doubt planted in Xavier Wood’s head about his contribution to The New Day continues to grow. Woods has cut a frustrated figure in recent weeks and on Raw in Evansville, Indiana he ended up costing Kofi Kingston a match after Kingston turned his shot at the Intercontinental Title against Jey Uso over to Woods after Woods picked up a win over Rey Mysterio.
As that situation has been left to fester, Karrion Kross set his sights on The Miz whose career has been languishing since he and R-Truth lost the World Tag Team Championship.
For weeks, Kross has played the same mind games with The Miz, telling the former WWE Champion he wants him to become someone who does anything to win.
The Miz Turns On R-Truth On WWE Raw
On Raw, The Miz and R-Truth faced The Final Testament’s Authors of Pain in a tag team match but it did not last long. Truth made a big tag to his partner but immediately received a boot to the face from The Miz for his trouble with the AOP hitting their finish to pick up the win while Karrion Kross howled with laughter at ringside.

The Awesome Truth team dates back to 2011 in WWE when The Miz and R-Truth were causing a storm. They picked up a victory over the massively unlikely team of CM Punk and Triple H on pay-per-view before headlining Survivor Series in a losing effort against John Cena and The Rock.
The pair were reunited in early 2024 when The Miz tried to have his old friend’s back when R-Truth was convinced he was part of The Judgment Day.
