Popular WWE Star Confirms New Contract

Triple H Holding Contract WWE

A WWE SmackDown star is staying put.

In 2025, Chelsea Green continued to prove herself as one of the most dependable and popular stars on the WWE roster. As well as becoming beloved by fans, Green has earned a reputation as someone who can make anything work and make it work well.

During the early part of the year, she enjoyed a run with the Women’s United States Title, and she remained a fixture on SmackDown even after losing the gold.

So perhaps it was no surprise when it was reported that Chelsea Green had signed a new long-term WWE contract. According to the report, Green will now be tied to the company until 2030.

Chelsea Green To Stay With WWE

During a new interview on the Gabby AF podcast, Green confirmed that she’s recently signed a new contract with the company. She added that while she’s without a direction on television, that’s ot neccessarily a bad thing.

“I’m directionless but not necessarily in a bad way. I came back, and I have been nonstop. I have not stopped moving and bopping from brand to brand in three years. I just re-signed. I’m so happy here and I’m okay to take a moment and fill my days and my weeks with media and traveling to represent WWE as the face.”

Green added that she’s happy to be on television every week despite not having a solid direction.

“I love being on TV every week, and obviously, I’m saying that, and it’s so ridiculous because I’m currently on SmackDown, NXT, and AAA in one week. I am still busy even though I don’t necessarily have a direction. I’m happy, and I think that’s all that matters. It’s not always about winning, it’s not always about being on pay-per-view.”

WWE contracts have been under the spotlight in recent weeks following the chaotic situation around Andrade. This saw the star fired by the company before returning to AEW, where he appeared on Dynamite, confronting Kenny Omega.

However, he hasn’t been featured on the show since following claims that new WWE/TKO contracts come with a one-year non-compete clause if the talent involved is fired. If enforced, this clause could keep Andrade out of the ring until September 2026.
