Planned Date And Location Of AEW Full Gear 2023
A new report sheds light on upcoming plans for AEW Full Gear.
AEW Full Gear is one of All Elite Wrestling’s annual pay-per-view events, and since its inception in 2019, has been held in November around the time of Veteran’s Day in the United States.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, the tradition is set to continue in 2023. The report reveals that according to sources with knowledge of the situation, Full Gear is headed to Los Angeles, CA and is set to take place at the Kia Forum. Internal calendars list the planned date as Saturday, November 18th, which would interfere with the company’s weekly broadcast of Collision. Fightful notes that an adjustment would have to be made to Collision, but there is no information as to how the company would plan to handle this.
Continuing, Fightful Select reports that some within All Elite Wrestling have discussed holding the pay-per-view on Sunday, November 19th instead. These discussions were surprising to some as the Jacksonville Jaguars are scheduled for a home game against the Tennessee Titans that day, and AEW typically avoids holding pay-per-views that conflict with the Jaguars’ football schedule as Tony Khan doesn’t want two of his properties competing against each other.
Fightful Select also reports that the AEW Dynamite in the days prior to Full Gear is scheduled to be held in Ontario, CA. None of this information is official until confirmed by All Elite Wrestling, but Fightful confirms these are the plans as of now.
