Orange Cassidy Title Match Set For AEW Revolution
Orange Cassidy was in action once again on AEW Dynamite and now he knows who he’ll be facing at Revolution in March.
Cassidy has hit 100 days in his second reign as AEW International Champion but on Dynamite in North Charleston, South Carolina, he had a change of pace as he teamed with Trent Beretta to face Penta El Zero Miedo and Komander.
Orange Cassidy picked up the win for his team but was immediately confronted by The Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong. Strong had made clear that he was going after Cassidy’s title and he questioned if the pressure was getting to the champion.
Cassidy then offered to have a title match there and then and Strong looked set to make his challenge before backing off and telling the champion that they’d face off at Revolution on March 3rd.
Orange Cassidy In The Undisputed Kingdom’s Sights
Orange Cassidy looks to have been in the wrong place at the wrong time to wind up in The Undisputed Kingdom’s sights. The group revealed themselves when Adam Cole was unveiled as The Devil at Worlds End when Samoa Joe defeated MJF for the AEW World Championship.
In addition to Roderick Strong going after the International Title, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett had already captured the ROH Tag Team Championship from MJF while Wardlow is targeting the AEW World Title so he can turn it over to Adam Cole.
