Oba Femi Ready For War As Date With Cody Rhodes Nears

Oba Femi is coming for Cody Rhodes.

At Deadline, Oba Femi beat Ricky Saints to become a two-time NXT Champion. Femi originally lost the title to Saints at No Mercy, but he made no mistake in the rematch.

Not only has the victory given Femi another taste of championship gold, but also a shot at Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event. At the request of John Cena, who wanted to see a card stacked with the stars of the future facing the stars of today, the two champions will now go toe-to-toe.

Cody Rhodes Facing Huge Challenge

Following his big win at Deadline, Femi warned Rhodes that change is coming, and change is undefeated.

“The biggest factor is change. Change came knocking at the door of Ricky Saints tonight, and it asked for his title, and he had no choice but to relinquish, because change always wins. When change met the dinosaurs, he sent the meteor. In the main event of the show, John Cena will wrestle the final match of his WWE career against Gunther. The former Intercontinental and World Heavyweight Champion beat LA Knight on the December 5 edition of SmackDown to get his shot at Cena.

Elsewhere, Bayley will face NXT standout Sol Ruca as the young star looks to move closer to a main roster call-up.
