NXT Star To Make Main Roster Debut On Raw

WWE NXT Ring

One NXT star is set to make their main roster WWE debut on Monday Night Raw.

Dominik Mysterio made his own bed on the 5th of September edition of NXT television when he was the special referee in a bout between Mustafa Ali and Dragon Lee. That match was to determine the number one contender for Mysterio’s North American Title and The Judgment Day star helped Ali pick up the win following a fast count.

On the 18th of September edition of Raw, Mysterio was back at his best – or worst if you prefer – getting in the face of Cody Rhodes. Rhodes defeated Mysterio back at Money In The Bank and on Raw The American Nightmare made shorter work of the star all the while, Dragon Lee was seen watching on from the crowd.

It was then confirmed later on the show that Dragon Lee would challenge Mysterio for his gold, not on NXT but on the 25th of September edition of Raw. That means Lee will make his main roster WWE debut in Ontario, California. Oddly, it also means that Lee will get a title shot before Mustafa Ali, who defeated Lee in the number one contender’s bout.

Dominik Mysterio back in NXT

Before his match with Dragon Lee, Dominik Mysterio will be back in NXT on the 19th of September when he faces NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes in a non-title match.

The Global Heritage Invitational will also continue on the 19th of September when Tyler Bate takes on Butch and Joe Coffey faces Duke Hudson. Roxanne Perez will also take on Lola Vice on the show.
