NXT Star In Backstage Altercation At Raw

One NXT star was forced to get physical with Dominik Mysterio backstage at Monday Night Raw.

Monday Night Raw in Oklahoma City proved to be a big night for The Judgment Day as Damian Priest and Finn Balor took on Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.

While The Judgment Day often has the numbers advantage in matches, they have Jimmy Uso to thank for Priest and Balor regaining the gold after he super kicked his twin brother in the face which ultimately allowed Finn Balor to pick up the pinfall.

Rhea Ripley had more of a mixed night, picking up a disqualification win over Shayna Baszler when their match was interrupted by Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez, and Zoey Stark. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce informed Ripley later in the night that she’d be defending her Women’s World Championship at Crown Jewel against Baszler, Jax, Rodriguez, and Stark in a five-way match.

Dominik Mysterio fights NXT star backstage

NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio ended up in a backstage fight with Nathan Frazer in unseen footage from the show. Frazer was being interviewed backstage when Mysterio interrupted telling Frazer to leave and head back to the white and gold brand.

Frazer challenged Mysterio to a North American Championship match on the 17th of October edition of NXT but Mysterio told him he did not deserve a title shot before things got physical.

There are two big matches with title implications set for Tuesday’s show as Baron Corbin, Dijak, and Carmelo Hayes will meet in a Triple Threat match to become the number one contender for the NXT Title.

There will also be a tag team battle royal on the show to determine the next contenders for Channing Lorenzo and Tony D’Angelo’s tag team gold.
