No Heat On Tiffany Stratton Despite Intense Social Media Rumours
Tiffany Stratton is not in trouble with WWE.
Rumours emerged on May 16th that Tiffany Stratton’s Queen of the Ring quarter-final with Bianca Belair had been pulled from SmackDown.
The speculation began after Stratton allegedly posted a video on social media of her hitting Belair’s partner Jade Cargill in a match, with a racially insensitive comment layered over the top. It should be noted that the audio in the alleged post was from a meme and not recorded by Stratton.
In response, there were claims on social media that Stratton had been removed from SmackDown. However, as reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, this isn’t the case. The report states that Stratton isn’t in trouble with WWE, despite what some are saying on social media.
Tiffany Stratton Praised By WWE Bosses
The report goes on to reiterate that Stratton isn’t in trouble, adding she’s only been praised by management and other talent moving to the main roster.
Stratton’s status within WWE is said to be unchanged, and remains on a “good footing.” Furthermore, management continues to see her as a performer with a “very high upside.”
On Raw, Gunther and Jey Uso advanced in the King of the Ring tournament, while Iyo Sky and Lyra Valkyria moved into the semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring. Should Tiffany Stratton get the better of Belair on SmackDown, she’ll face Nia Jax or Jade Cargill.
