Nikki Bella Had A 30-Minute Conversation With Seth Rollins About His “Knee Injury”

Nikki Bella has shared a funny story about Seth Rollins’ fake injury.

At Saturday Nights Main Event XL, Rollins faced LA Knight in a singles match, during which he seemed to have botched a moonsault attempt.

He immediately clutched on to his right knee and had a couple of minutes of discussion with the ringside doctor before agreeing to continue. However, Knight hit him with a BFT for the pinfall.

Over the next few months, Rollins would disappear from TV and post updates on social media about his injury.

At SummerSlam, after CM Punk defeated Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, Rollins appeared on crutches accompanied by Paul Heyman, who was holding the Money in the Bank briefcase.

The Visionary then dropped the crutches and cashed in his MITB contract and beat Punk to win the title.

It was arguably the biggest ruse a WWE star had pulled off, which seemingly affected the environment backstage.

Nikki Bella Recalls Discussing Seth Rollins’ Knee Injury

While Nikki Bella did not wrestle at SummerSlam, she was featured in a backstage segment for a Papa John’s pizza ad.

During a recent appearance on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story? podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed the details about speaking to Seth Rollins about his injury.

Now this is what I love about our business. I think what I loved is we were so happy for Punk, we’re all walking back up from suite going back to the room thinking it’s over. And when his (Rollins) music hit, I was like, “Oh, is he just gonna come cut a promo?” Cause I’m like, “Didn’t he have surgery?” Because I had a 30-minute conversation with him at Evolution about how bad his knee is. So, I’m like…and I talked to Becky about it.

So, I’m really like, “I guess we’re ending on a promo.” When those…I’m even getting chills…when those crutches dropped, I was like, “Is he out of his mind?” And when he ran down, I was like, “No!!!”

Elsewhere, Nikki Bella addressed reports that she dates only young men.
