Nick Khan Finally Reveals How Famous ‘Green Shirt Guy’ Pays For His WWE Tickets
Nick Khan finally debunks all rumors about the ‘Green Shirt Guy.’
WWE has a dedicated superfan, Superfan Smilez, who is seen wearing a bright green shirt with a smiley face logo at nearly every major WWE event, including RAW, SmackDown, and Premium Live Events, for over a decade.
Fans speculated he has either WWE connections or free tickets from a lawsuit, or maybe some family ties, because there is no way an average person can afford front row premium tickets, especially in this economy, that too at nearly every event.
WWE President Nick Khan finally revealed how the ‘Green Shirt Guy’ pays for his seats on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast. When Paul asked what’s the deal with the ‘Green Shirt Guy’, Khan replied that he buys premium front-row seats through On Location, a WWE/UFC sister company for VIP hospitality.
One of the sister companies of WWE and UFC is OnLocation. He pays for his seats. He pays a premium for those seats through OnLocation, and that’s why he gets to be in the front row. [H/T Fightful]
Nick Khan Doesn’t Care About Fans’ Opinions
Speaking to Logan Paul on his podcast, Nick Khan also revealed that he doesn’t pay any attention to the fans online who share their opinions of him. He only cares about the opinions of those who are close to him.
“If a fan out there says, ‘Hey, this piece of shit President of the company,’ doesn’t matter to me. If they also said, ‘This guy is so great,’ doesn’t matter. If I’m close with you, then I care what your opinion is of me.”
“If you walked into a crowded restaurant and said, ‘Please give me your anonymous feedback,’ and they came back saying, ‘Your hair is too white. Your shirt is too ugly,’ and I’m like, ‘Hey, how could you say these things?’ You asked for it. I get it.”
“I’ve never once searched my name on X. I’ve never once searched my name on the internet. Whether it’s positive or negative, I don’t care about that. I care about, at WWE, part of my job is ratings, revenue, and relevancy. We refer to it as the three R’s. Those are the things I’m focused on.” [H/T Ringside News]
