Nick Khan Skirts Donald Trump In WWE Suggestion

Donald Trump WWE

Nick Khan has expressed his view of one day seeing Donald Trump back in WWE.

Before becoming one of the most controversial politicians of the modern era, Donald Trump was one of the most controversial businessmen in the United States.

Trump has a long friendship with Vince McMahon and the two men were in opposite corners for the hugely successful Battle of the Billionaires at WrestleMania 23. That resulted in Vince McMahon getting his head shaved live in the middle of the ring.

Several WrestleMania events took place at Trump properties in its early years and his contributions to WWE were recognised with an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.

Since then, Trump has become the most polarizing man in the US, having held the role of President between 2017 and 2021 and he looks set to run again for the top job later in 2024 when he will be 78 years old. Donald Trump recently gave both The Undertaker and Kane a shout out in a campaign speech.

Nick Khan Treads Lightly On Donald Trump In WWE Questions

Speaking to Fox News, Nick Khan and The Rock were asked for his thoughts on WWE as well as UFC audiences apparently having a fondness for Donald Trump. Khan’s answer was diplomatic, to say the least:

Red states we sell out. Blue states we sell out. It’s not what we’re focused on. What we’re focused on is the in-ring product and how it delivers to our fans. If politicians are fans of our product, they are welcome.

As far as if Khan wants to see Trump back in a WWE ring, Khan replied that it might not work out well for Trump if he had to go one-on-one with The Great One:

Listen, Rock against Donald Trump, I don’t know how that will work out for Donald Trump in the ring.

The Rock has joined the TKO Board of Directors and if he is in action again it looks more likely he’ll be facing off with Roman Reigns than Donald Trump.
