A new stable is coming to WWE featuring several wrestlers who have been under contract and not used for a long time.

For the past several months, there have been mysterious QR Codes and other objects shown on the screen during WWE television events. There was also a message on WWE’s website recently that warned: “A Massacre Is Coming.”

It is well known among WWE fans that the storyline is going to lead to the return of Bo Dallas as Uncle Howdy leading a new stable that will pay tribute to the late, great Bray Wyatt.

The wrestlers linked to the group include Bo Dallas, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, and Erick Rowan, who re-signed earlier this year. Rowan has been training at the WWE Performance Center. Joe Gacy, who was last seen in NXT, is also likely to be part of the group.

Fightful Select reported that Dallas has been under contract to WWE since 2022 despite not wrestling for the past two years. Dallas portrayed Uncle Howdy when his brother Bo Dallas returned in late 2022 and into 2023.

As for Dexter Lumis, he has been kept off television for over a year, yet he remains under contract. Fightful added that Lumis wasn’t injured. He just wasn’t being used.

WWE Believes New Stable Will Work In This Era

The report from Fightful added that people within WWE believe “there’s a real chance this will work with modern wrestling.” It was hinted at in the Bray Wyatt documentary that aired on Peacock when it was mentioned that they needed to do something to make Bray proud.

It was added also that WWE believes that it can work in this era of modern wrestling because there doesn’t appear to be supernatural elements planned for the stable.

There will also be costumes that may be involved, according to Fightful. They mentioned Mercy The Buzzard, Huskus Pig, and White Rabbit as possibilities, but WWE is also keeping their plans close to the vest.

Fans may not have to wait too long for the debut of this group since they have hinted at June 17th as their debut date. That’s the date of Monday’s Raw from Corpus Christi, Texas.
