New SummerSlam Title Match Announced
The Biggest Party of the Summer has just got even bigger with another massive title match added to SummerSlam on Friday Night SmackDown.
SummerSlam is already sure to be a massive show in Nashville, Tennessee with Brock Lesnar challenging Roman Reigns – possibly for the final time ever – for Reigns’ Unified WWE Universal Championship in a Last Man Standing match. Whoever emerges victorious might want to make a quick getaway with Mr. Money In The Bank Theory threatening to cash in his contract on the night’s winner.
That is if Theory survives his bout on the show with Bobby Lashley where Theory will look to regain the WWE US Championship that he lost to Lashley at Money In The Bank.
Pat McAfee will take to the ring again following his exploits at WrestleMania 38 following his recent problems with Happy Corbin, and Ronda Rousey will seek to claim back her SmackDown Women’s Championship when she faces Liv Morgan.
On SmackDown it was also announced that another huge title match will take place at SummerSlam with The Street Profits getting one more shot at the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos.
These two teams went at it at Money In The Bank with The Usos emerging victorious. However, replays after the match clearly showed that Montez Ford had his shoulder up for the pinfall. Only time will tell if the Profits will be up come SummerSlam on July 30th.
