Naomi Is “Certainly Returning To WWE” – Report

A new report has claimed that a return to WWE for Naomi is all but done and dusted.

Whilst a lot of the focus has been on Sasha Banks ahead of her expected appearance at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 17, it would seem that her former Women’s Tag Team Championship partner is set for a return to WWE.

It was back on May 15th, 2022 when Sasha Banks and Naomi left WWE due to being frustrated over their creative direction as the Women’s Tag Team Champions. They were later stripped of their titles and have not returned to the company since, despite plenty of speculation that they may do.

The latest report from Bryan Alvarez on the latest Wrestling Observer Live claims that Naomi is indeed set for a return. Alvarez goes so far as to say he is certain that it’s going to happen.

They’re not going to New Japan, Naomi, and Bayley. Of course, there is no official information on Naomi, but my impression is she will be returning to WWE. Actually, you can report that my belief is that she will be returning to WWE because she will certainly be returning to WWE. I will just say that. Other than that, I don’t know what is going on.

It’s reported that both both stars mentioned above are currently in Japan to support Sasha Banks at Wrestle Kingdom, although with Bayley under WWE contract and Naomi seemingly going to be soon if she isn’t already, it is far less likely they will appear on screen. One WWE talent who will appear is Karl Anderson, who defends the NEVER Openweight Championship against Tama Tonga.
