Naomi Finds New Wrestling Home (SPOILER)
Former WWE star Naomi has not featured for any wrestling company since May 2022 but it looks like that is set to change according to a new report.
Naomi and Sasha Banks walked out of WWE in May 2022 while they were both WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, since then Banks has been reborn as Mercedes Mone and is the former IWGP Women’s Champion in New Japan Pro Wrestling but Naomi remains out of action.
The former SmackDown Women’s Champion recently refuted claims that she’d been unable to come to terms with NJPW due to money and she also recently appeared backstage at a GCW show.
Now PWInsider has reported that things are set to change for Naomi as she is going to debut for IMPACT Wrestling at their next set of tapings in Chicago and is their touted “major surprise.”
The report notes that this is not set to be a one-time deal for the star who will likely use the name Trinity Fatu and she will begin a run in the company.
The signing bolsters a women’s division that is headed by Deonna Purrazzo who is the current Knockouts Champion but also includes the likes of Jordynne Grace, Killer Kelly, KiLynn King, Rosemary, Tasha Steelz, Gisele Shaw, and Mickie James.
